Help Us Grow Our Stories

Hello everyone! We’re Crit & Grit Media, a small but passionate group of storytellers, roleplayers, and friends who have stepped into the world of podcasting with our show Malevolence: Echoes in the Dark, a playthrough of the Pathfinder 2e Malevolence adventure path.

We love creating stories, sharing them, and building a community around that shared passion. But producing a quality show takes resources that go beyond what we can currently manage on our own. So, after much thought (and a lot of hesitation), we’re humbly reaching out for help.

Why We’re Asking for Support

Our goal isn’t extravagance. It’s sustainability. We want to continue improving the quality of our show, supporting accessibility, and eventually collaborating with talented artists and creators who can help elevate our productions.

Your donations would directly support:

⭐ 1. Full Episode Transcriptions (TurboScribe Annual Subscription)

Right now, we’re limited to transcribing only 30 minutes per episode using the free version of TurboScribe.
But full transcriptions matter  for accessibility, for fans who prefer reading, and for turning our episodes into written story editions.

A one-year TurboScribe subscription would allow us to provide complete transcriptions for every episode we release.

⭐ 2. Podcast Hosting (Podbean Annual Subscription)

We currently pay for Podbean monthly, and even the basic plan adds up quickly.
Switching to the yearly plan would save money overall and give us stability as we continue to grow our show.

This is a small but important step toward making Crit & Grit Media a long-term project rather than something we struggle to maintain month-to-month.

⭐ 3. Character Art for the Cast

We would love to commission talented artists to visually bring our characters to life.
Quality art not only helps us promote our show, but also supports the artists who inspire and enrich the tabletop community.

⭐ 4. Original Intro & Outro Music

One of our dreams is to work with a music producer to create signature themes for our shows starting with Echoes in the Dark.
Atmospheric music sets the tone and elevates the entire listening experience, but commissioning those pieces can be expensive.
